Peachy.

Explain to me how I can get these two e-mails from two different professors within two hours of each other.

1)Wren, you are the first student to present me with a proposed hypothesis for your project, let alone a list of materials. I am very happy that you did this. I wish MANY other people had done as you have done, instead of doing what one person from class did to me yesterday: show up, after literally weeks of my suggesting possible projects, and saying with dull eyes “I don’t know what to do for a project.” Had this person spoken with her/his lab partner? No. So as I say, I am delighted with your suggestions. They are direct and reasonable.

2)It’s unfortunate you’ve had to miss so many classes. I have not yet received the electronic copies of the chapters you were responsible for, so if you could send them soon that would be helpful.

One of these professors thinks I am a total slacker, and the other one thinks I am amazingly on task. One of them is wrong.

The paper in question in the second e-mail was sent out a week and a half ago. Also? Pardon me for being sick. Professor number one is someone I've never had as a teacher, and professor number two had me last semester, when I missed a grand total of two freaking classes. Professor 2 should know I am not skipping for fun, and that is why I am so upset about this.
