Vass: oh, out of curiosity, which are you? puritan or religious nutjob? Since I'm apparently a criminal.
Wren: I'm the other one.
Vass: and pray tell, what is the other one?
Caff: the one that hates the other two.
Vass: *ponders* except that you just agreed that the US is entirely made up of puritans and religious nutjobs...
Caff: yes, so?
Vass: so that would preclude there being a third option....
Caff: right
Vass: unless you wish to start denying that you're a US citizen
Caff: yes.
Vass: so would you care to inform me of which nation you are a citizen?
Caff: me!
Vass: I highly doubt that you're an independent nation...
Caff: I am indeed. I have my own tax rate adn everything.
Vass: defense force?
Caff: as you've seen
Vass: *nods* very crappy immune system. might want to increase your defense spending....
Vass: so is the independent nation of whatever you've decided to call it self-sufficient?
Caff: I rely heavily on imports.
Vass: of course. what's the population growth rate like?
Vass: or are you pursuing ZPG?
Caff: population growth is me.
Vass: okay... ZPG...
Vass: immigration?
Caff: isn't that a bit personal? ^_^

Vass: so what're the major industries?
Caff: large-scale organization, literature
Vass: large-scale organisation? sounds like consultation crap...
Caff: feh.
Vass: so what about literature then?
Caff: we export satire.
Vass: ahh... generic satire or is it more concentrated at particular people and groups?
Caff: depends on the angst production.
Vass: and is that generally high?
Caff: depends on international political climate.
Vass: how international? UN level international or more on the personal level of international?
Caff: when you're one person, everything is international.
Vass: very true, however not everyone else considers themselves their own nation...
Caff: well...yes.
Vass: so international confrontations can therefore be on the macro level(on nation against another), or the micro level (one nation against a member or members of another nation)...
Caff: micro level, generally
Vass: ahh... does it ever lead to low level warfare?
Caff: yes.
Vass: of course. silly question
Caff: indeed.
Vass: so do you get many tourists? or is that on a security level akin to immigration?
Caff: My country occasionally allows photo safaris.
Caff: *giggle*
Vass: as long as they aren't nude photo safaris
Caff: my country has never hosted a nude photo safari.
Vass: ahh... but you still get lots of tourists?
Caff: we limit our tourism.
Vass: very limited?
Caff: my country prefers to find other methods of income.
Vass: and blackmail? ^_^
Caff: only on a micro scale
Vass: ah, of course
Vass: so can your nation keep the entire populace employed?
Caff: yes. My nation has no problems finding a job.
