When you have mentees of your own, and you want them to act professionally in front of your students, dress maturely, arrive on time, and essentially take responsibility for everything you are accountable for...
Do not do the following:
1) Ever use the phrase "it must be a teenager thing" in reference to them.
2) Call them "so cute."
We're either adults, or we are not. Stop making me walk the fucking borderline.

wait I thought none of you could even be teenagers anymore. I thought that wasn't even a theoretical possibility.
ps: we're not adults. the older I get, the more unwilling I am to believe that adulthood is a real thing.
If I am expected to act like an adult, I expect to be treated like one in turn.
I am LIVID on your behalf.
