My latest project.

I am working on a neighborhood of pixiepeople. If you click the link, you'll go to a slideshow of screenshots of the NPCs. That's right. I made custom NPCs. It's a from-scratch neighborhood, and once I am completely done revamping the auto-generated NPCs there will not be a single human in it.

I'm making a lot of custom content for it, too. Special walls, flooring, pillars (the houses are treehouses, so the bottom story is open-air, generally surrounding a tree-trunk.) I'm also working on a new bath set that is made of mossy stone--bathtub, sink, mirror, and possibly toilet.

My favorite part, though, is the singing plant. Pixies should not dance in front of stereos. Rather, I figure they'd be able to listen to the sounds of the forest and boogie away like that. Hopefully, I will be able to add musical notes to it, too.

Don't even get me started on the pixie television. You don't want to know.

So anyway, that's what I have been doing. Once I am done with the neighborhood, I get to upload the entire thing to MTS2 and prosper.

Lol, Wren, you make me laugh. I have been planning something really similar. I love Enayla's pixie skins soooo much, and have been debating whether or not i want to hand-make my NPCs, which I assume you did or just use some default replacements in many categories and see what the computer comes up with. However, I was reading last night that the "deleteallcharacters" cheat can make some serious problems and didn't know if I should do that or download the empty pleasantview neighborhood. Bah. Anywho, your characters look great, congrats! Be sure to tell us when you upload your stuff to mts2!

Oh, and picture comment:

Loigaire, making the term "fire-crotch" a reality.

I love the shot of him from above. lol

I made all the NPCs by hand and then re-coded them outside of the game. None of them were randomly generated.

Deleteallcharacters is bad. I would recommend following jordi's tutorial at More Awesome Than You, which tells you how to make your own blank neighborhood. However, you won't have Sims with custom content unless you re-code them by hand like I did.

Maaaan, I figured I would have to do that, but was hoping somehow I could cling to laziness. :(

On the other hand, they do make for more attractive npcs.
