Dear Mouth:
Since I've spent a good portion of the morning puking into the toilet, I can't help but noticing how much saliva you produce before the actual vomiting takes place. Why is that? Is it to protect my teeth from all the stomach acid about to be ejected from my poor, sore little body?
If so, it's like lube for mouthrape, and I hate my brain for letting myself think this as I stare at Round Two Pancakes.
No love,
The Theravadan Buddhist perception of the body is sometimes scarily accurate.

EWWWWWWWWWWW!
And yet, it also somehow inspires love for you. You are so weird.
I think the saliva might protect the mouth from stomach acid, or it might just be a response to everything from your mouth to the bottom of your stomach going wrong. It might be to help spit the stomach acid out. Or to keep any toxins that might be in the stomach from staying in your mouth. Who knows?
Also: four days till Maddofam Moviefest!
Yeah, that happens over here too. Can't figure it out.
