Epiphany
Matt and I are apartment-hunting today, looking for a place to live for grad school and beyond. I was going about it like a college student, looking for places close to campus.
Then I had an epiphany.
I could have a dishwasher. And a patio. And a fucking fitness center. I mean, we're gonna be here for a while! This isn't a subletting deal. This is us, finding a place to live and having jobs and careers!
So now I am looking at nicer apartments, farther away, that allow pets, and have covered parking. Some of them have gates.
And it's making me feel like an adult. But then I remember I dance in the shower, and I feel slightly less claustrophobic.

You need to get a really swanky two-bedroom pad full of rats and my cat and the giant TV and it'll be like Adult Comic House and we can watch movies on Blueray and have dinner parties!
I am really looking forward to an apartment with a pool and parking and a fitness center.
Like, a lot.
Adulthood isn't that bad!
