That is the most adorable picture. Also it looks like you're not wearing a shirt underneath. I'm just about to look at the second ELEMENTS beta if it will let me open it. I'm sad to be missing out but I hope the magazine's going well.

Maddo, it was almost worse. I was in that tiny blue spaghetti strap nightshirt, and almost didn't button the lab coat all the way up.
That's right. This shot was one button short of being pure cleavage. ><
And thus we would know why people go to lab.

I finally got a chance to look at Beta 2 of ELEMENTS, and it's awesome! I really love that pic of you, and your articles, and the "lab stories" section in Alium and stuff. Is that a staged picture of Matt? If so, how did they do it? I was like "I swear that's one of my housemates... but I don't think he actually blew up a flask in his face." Lastly, the new Cosmo Nerd is just as awesome as I imagined it would be. I like the "adult beverage" and duct tape.
P.S. Do I get a copy?

Yes, the picture is staged. We used charcoal, a lighter, a hammer, a beaker, and an old set of goggles to get that shot.

Yes, I know it's Matt Loewen. Speaking of Matt Loewen, I know someone on the program who goes to Willamette who went to high school with him. Her name is Caroline Sherwood, if he's interested. She remembers him as being "crazy and funny," lol.
