Plane travel is always going to suck, tho.

As plane flights go, this one has actually been rather pleasant. I got to watch a movie, I finished Dune, and as yet no one has attempted to steal my PS3. I’m still dead tired and the plane air is causing my skin to rebel in dehydrated rage, but we’re twenty minutes from L.A., so the worst is almost over.

Well, not really. The worst is probably yet to come. I really hate the LAX, and I’m even more terrified of California. Talking to people who are actually from there has only strengthened that fear, because people I dislike tend to love it, while people I like tend to hate it. To me, that means it’s some sort of cesspit. Granted, I won’t be there for long, but driving the length of the scariest state in the nation is still likely to have an effect on my poor exhausted psyche.

::EDIT FROM COUCH::

What I went through to get my luggage cannot really be described as a “throng” of people, or even a herd. Those words suggest both sentience and motion. Instead, I got to wade through a clot of stationary meatbeasts to wait at the world’s least helpful baggage claim. An hour later, we flee for the car.

Speaking as someone who just spent four hours on a plane, I think I can safely say that I LOVE CARS.

Which version of Dune? Gotta love the older, more psychodelic one. I wasn't too fond of the new Sci-fi channel one. Can you tell I'm too chicken to call yet? I'd rather comment safely... and avoid your wrath... I miss you. and I hope your holidays had some happiness despite Fam and Co.

It was the book, actually, which I suppose counts both as older and psychadellic.

Holidays will be shaping up nicely now that I am away from the family.

And I don't know why everyone fears my wrath.

Texas is the scariest state in the nation, not California.
