Rose and I have decided what to tell Alice. You see, she's a useful source, and I don't particularly want to burn down any bridges. So, we've decided to ask her to be a reference on job applications, ask her to (FINALLY!! argh, argh!!!!) register us with the volunteer department... and then tell her we're going to volunteer at the Humane Society so we can explore that aspect of animal care. Sounds reasonable, it keeps her from realizing we're pissed, and everyone's fine and dandy. They're just short two volunteers, but hey, they have one more big locker to give to the REAL employees... ::The very keyboard melts under the bitterness of that thought::
