That's it.
So I found a job I wanted at the zoo today. I met all the requirements save one: I don't have a Washington state driver's license.
Cue scream of rage.
So now I have a new goal. I am going to start establishing my residency.
1) Open a bank account here. It will probably have to be a checking account.
2) Register to vote here.
3) Get a state ID. I can't get a WA driver's license until I am a resident. -.-
4) Register my car in Washington State.
This way, by next year, I will be a resident.
(I am so full of rage.)

What kind of job was it? That's so weird that you have to be a resident to get a driver's license. My parents don't seem to think that's the case, as they've told me multiple times that I should be able to get a Washington driver's license whenever I want to. Are you sure you couldn't haggle your way into applying for the job without the driver's license? If not, that sucks and I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you: the other day we went to the Imperial War Museum and I saw a few "Join the WRENS" original posters in exhibits and thought of you. Much <3!
