"I just don't know what to do with myself!" screamed Jack White
And I agreed whole-heartedly. I really DON'T know what to do with myself. Yeah, I have that list, but...most of that isn't stuff that I actually NEED to do. Now that I got accepted I don't have to obsess over that or think about other colleges, but I can't really focus on planning FOR college yet because right now I don't have the slightest clue as to what the hell I need. And since I have no homework...there's absolutely NOTHING presenting itself for me to stress over. I feel like I should be actively searching it out. Must...replace...void...
I'd hate myself if I found a replacement stress source. I know I'm going to start stressing out about leaving soon, so if I knew what was good for me I'd be enjoying this more right now. But we all already know that I don't know what's good for me.
THINGS I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH TONIGHT:
1) clean room
2) talk to Unc about laptop
3) talk to Unc about senior trip
4) rotate futon mattress
Tomorrow I have to return that necklace, fill out the FAFSA, and hopefully buy new pants at Old Navy before going off to work. I also have to tell SLAM that I'm working till close and we can't go see a movie. I tried to call him today, but his cellphone must be dead or M.I.A. How me-esque. (Come to think of it....where IS my cell? Ohhhhh, in my CAAAAAR. That's useful.)
Well, there are a few things I KNOW I want to get done for college. I'm in a list-y mood, so here goes:
1) get new cellphone. Possibly switch to verizon. I want a plan that has free long distance and free text messaging.
2) Decide whether or not I want the stuff that allows you to turn your laptop into a desktop. That docking bay thingie. It might make it easier to watch movies on, so perhaps I should. Also, do I want a printer? I bet I do. HMMMM.
3) MINI-FRIDGE.
4) Bean bags. Black satin sheets. Lots of pillows. (ok, ok. Those are for my room. Well, not the bean bags.)
5) Give me back my fucking BOOKSHELF, Fam. Your taxes are not worthy of filling its space.
6) That was unrelated.
And what EVER shall I buy with my "end of the year" money?
1) Serial Experiments Lain perfect collection
2) Those cool contact lenses ::insert satanic smile::
3) $100 worth of CDs
Be proud of me. That's only $500 worth of stuff. I originally had planned to blow $1000.
Hey. So, my birthday is evidently less than a month away, right? Well, I think I wanna rent out a big room in a restaurant and have lots of people come and eat food and maybe we can play some games, what. I dunno where I wanna go, tho. Pizza is a no-no, and lots of mexican or chinese in one room might prove to be a bad thing. LOL! The Einstein's up in Old Orchard has a conference room they rent out! But no, I want a night-time type place with real food. Unc has had a few "large banquets" ((crap)) in his day, perhaps I should consult with him.
::enter Wren. Unc sitting on couch in blanket staring at tv.::
Wren: "Hey, unc?"
Unc: "hmmmmmm?"
Wren: "So, birthday dinner."
Unc: ::grunt::
Wren: "Ideas?"
Unc: "huh?"
::exit Wren in huffy manner::
It's probably not worth making the effort, really. It all depends on his mood. Sometimes he feels like getting all into it and being helpful, other times I think I catch him when he's attempting to meditate as a vegetable. People don't get all help-y to others who have obstructed their Flow.
I think I'm gonna go fill out that F-ing FAFSA form right now. This entry is getting more pointless by the letter, and I don't see things going uphill anytime soon.
